The misc stuff dun nid special mention, but lets talk about my modules first.. since i so eagerly blogged about my outstandings why not clear one of my outstandings? Lets talk about my "misfortune".

But not before a break time with my uploaded video on youtube feat NYPPE concert 2008, with me performing Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence

Alright! Entered NYP after graduation in 2006, tried to enter a JC but cannot. coz my L1R5 is 23. I guess there's a reason for everything.. but i did not once regret coming to Poly, (maybe it was for PE) and did not regret trying out for JC either.. it was to meet my personal mentor/leader, who gave me a wake up call in life regarding my mum.. I wasnt serious about anything until i met him. Became a hot head target driven person with insane dreams since then.. >< style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">class AA. happy happy meet frens bla bla, mug for test, scored well for every test EXCEPT for one.. Communication skills 1. What happened? Was at home shitting my ass away, when i have this instinct that today for a test. While on the bowl called my fren to confirm..

"Hey when the comm skills exam ah?"
"Today lo"
"What time ah?"
"Over liao lo! You not here meh?"
"Wth no la.. shit!"

Gg.. tried to fake MC for retest doc dun give. So, missing that test was equilvalent to missing 40% straight.. GG. Verdict? 4 As with an F (and 1 B and B+). GPA 3.4, relocated to another class, because in NYP i not sure about other polys, when you fail one module, you are the outstanding one with outstanding modules, you poly life is pretty much fished up.. yea.. cant get to go back to my old class anymore.. not to say but i didnt regret leaving that competitive class anyway (its the top class in my course).. though it was my fault for not recording and being independent, but at least they could have did what my class A6 ppl have done? Like start calling friends who are not present at starting of test? its like friendship la.. i dunno, that's what i feel.

My new class is my poly 2nd family, PE is my 1st.. nurtured good friendship over the years now that going to year 4 soon, because of outstanding modules.. Sticked to the people for some semesters with semesters having odd classes like class AJ and class A6 (year 1). Oh yea, we outstanders have the privilege of choosing our modules and classes EVERY sem, that's a good thing.. people who dun fail? they cant choose but they can relocate though.. MUHAHA..

Break time! Watched Transporter 3 yesterday, didnt watch 1 nor 2 but found that its a nice show! Action babe (pig in malay) haha.. catch the video here for the intense sense i loved the most

So the system is about pushing back, so i fail 1 in yr 1 sem 1, yr 1 sem 2 i would have to give up one module to take that failed module and make up for it in yr 2 sem 1. Truthfully, i failed only 1 module in my entire poly life. Logically i would onli have 1 module outstanding. The perks? ability to take my outstanding module with my attachment cum fyp in year 3 sem 2 and graduating at the same time with my peers the normal way. It doesnt make sense that i have 3 outstanding modules and lose the perks (otherwise meaning having to say for 1/2 a year, taking 3 modules with 11 hours a week only) i wonder if i broke the poly record for having the least hours per week for a student..

But how??? how come logic fails me? well, after i failed my module, being a sophomore, i was not aware we have to register our modules ourselves and was late for it.

Blame NYP for printing "You are scheduled for module registration from ___-___" in font size 8 somewhere in your results slip.

Blame myself for being blind.

Blame that lecturer for "helping" me to register and forgetting (I CONFIRM + CHOP IS FORGET) to include my Complementary Studies
(its comprises of modules you have to take every sem for 2 years, or we will call it the languages module coz those german french japanese modules are found here). Thus in Year 1 sem 2, i have two outstanding modules "magically". A 'complementary studies' and 'Comm skills 1'. Shouldn be the case right? How about the 3rd? Being smart now i register every sem until the pop up says "you have ran out of hours" means you have reached the maximum number modules you can take. Still cannot, one module is left out haphazardly in one of those semesters.

Tadah! The whole poly saga is this, some questions might be "why you nv confront that lecturer?" Coz I nv thought that it could have such an impact. "are you sure lecturers are that evil or dumb for that matter?" Yes. One such example from my friend is 1. He was on time for registration. 2. He happily printed out his time table with the classes he chose himself. 3. Attended first day of sch, went to class, found out he doesnt exist. 4. Went to lecturer to verify, lecturer admittedly says that he changed his timetable and classes on his behalf because he thinks that the class he chose would benefit him.

Fairness vs Good Will. You decide

There's one more i know but i forget though.. but bring this matter up to anyone in NYP who failed modules, they have a story to tell.. anyways i didnt regret either, coz in this super free half year i can do lots of things like discovering my mission and doing my last bit for PE (passing down my knowledge). As the Vice President i did not have the chance to do it, now being the ex VP i can haha..

So that's done, now lets go on to others. I decide to make this a long post coz i owe many days..

just Realised that i know so much about Ryuichi Sakamoto but i haven wiki-ed him yet.. so one day went to wiki him and viola! found out that i knew little of him and him biography! Pls visit Ryuichi Sakamoto for lots of details.. anyways the point is regarding that piano solo book. I always say i respect the composer, so even though i try hard to protect that book, i dun photocopy despite Edwin's advice. Coz being the musician he is, he has tons of genuine books at home which are costly (according to him he has "that" Disney score book worth $169.90 .. i believe that the worth is somewhere there but its a grey area as to whether he has it or not). coz the book is protected by copyright laws. But i quote from wikipedia, "He is also known as a critic of copyright law, arguing that it is antiquated in the information age."

Who? Ryuichi. So? Err think harder..Result? Elated..

Oh and i found that nokia phone in which the ringtones are composed by him.. just watch this video. look out at 1:10
