Good news: I totally cleared my Thinking and Problem Solving Skills. Clear! Pass! No more debar!

Not-so-good news: Left with OOP quiz (piece of cake coz open book), OOP mini project (teacher lenient give easy one), Aerospace Legislation common test. The challenge now is to score well to maintain my current GPA of 3.2 Yep!

Bad news: No bad news! The bad news is no bad news. As we have a popular saying in our practice that goes,"In life, having no problems is the biggest problem"

So anyway, updates on music. Learnt Aye Caramba already, polishing koko, uploading real soon, left with Vampire Knight opening, Air TV Tori no Uta and Touhou 6 Rank S Extra Stage Last Boss Theme. I can show you two videos for the last two. But since its going to be another long post i think i shall split up a bit.

This week is like nothing to do. Nv go out, just go sch, come back and rot (meaning play piano and PSP) completed Kingdom of Paradise (short game but well =/) I play games to complete them.. shortly put, i am a games completor. I dun play games that

1. no story/plot (usually meaning it doesnt end)

if you're talking about handhelds, PSP ports of FPS (first person shooters: think Counter Strike) are nonono! i mean wth FPS are meant to play with a mouse and keyboard not buttons.. I cant get why Halo is so popular when it came out of xbox. I mean how you enjoy the experience? ><" Games like fallout 3 targets the opponent automatically. Why games like counterstrike, Team fortress 2 and Left 4 dead dun appear on handhelds? Because these games speak of skills, not Chiong Sua tactics where you suffer damage and instant replenish.

Coming back i am games completor. I play all kinds of games unlike some of my gaming gurus who play RPG like mad and complete them at breakneck speed Side Quests Included (meaning 100% game completion) usually those who play final fantasy la..

I play RTS (but i play the campaign only), action, RPG and puzzles. As long as there's a story and can be completed. So games i will never touch are games like FIFA, Monster Hunter series. I am not biased against sports. I play Shaun White Snowboarding and there are achievements to get, after getting them its considered completed. I completed Need For Speed Undercover too anyways. In the days of sec sch, i play GBA (gameboy advance) games everyday for 2 years. I emulate them on my PC, have lots of games. The same goes for Playstation, also emulated. But i quit the emulation world and go in PC gaming and PSP (aka ISO WORLD YEA BABY *_*)

Alrighty next up we have a ranting session. ^^ there is this person i reali dislike, but i am trying to overcome this negativity affecting his character and resulting in my mood being down. I cannot afford to let this person's demons affect me. In fact I should be steadfast and strong to help his overcome his weakness. What's his weakness? He hardly has any manners

Owen was her?" it's the theme for the extra boss, Flandre Scarlet, in the videogame "Touhou Volume 6: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil" The title is based on an Agatha Christie's novel "And Then There Were None", U.N. Owen (Often mistaken as "Unknown" by the characters of the novel) was a man that invited ten people to an island and then enjoyed killing them, much like Flandre does with her victims.

And then someone corrected him "You have a bit of that off - U.N. Owen wasn't "mistaken" as unknown - U.N. Owen was one of the ten guests, and used a pun-based pseudonym to alert them that they were being had. I think the metaphor on the whole is rather poor, as Owen didn't kill the guests out enjoyment, but out of a desire to pass judgment on people who were not punished for their past crimes because they couldn't be convicted in a court of law, as well wanting to create an unsolvable murder mystery."

From this we can see that the game creator had extensive knowledge reaching to english literature. The game creator is a Jap and not onli that, he is the game: programmer, sound producer (composer), graphic designe and director cum producer. The game stretches back to 1996. Since the start, it has been a one and only one man work. Amazing isnt it? In japan this sparked a new trend too, and of course highlight japan superiority in games.

Ok back to ranting..I have personally clashed upfront with him. Some time ago i hated his attitude, so one day i wasnt feeling so good already and he starts up again. At that time, he wanted to learn my style of music. This reason makes up most of my guessing. From the start he is a rock singer and pianist, he sings/plays songs from Elton John, Eric Clapton, Green Day stuff like that, both soft and hard rock.

Ever since long time ago, he's been bugging me about my style. But I told him, you should stick to your rock style and music, there's nothing inferior about yours. specialise in it. But i didnt have the heart to tell him he wasnt meant for my genre of music. Even up till now he is still stuck to his rock style when composing instrumentals. and god knows? he is still wondering why mine always sounds nicer than his. Coz you are not confident with your style at all, you lack the believe, you lack bringing out the true nature and power of rock!

There was this very memorable encounter with him. He wanted to discuss business with me. He shared with jon and jon came to ask me. Of course at that time i already told jon about my dreams long time ago and how to go about it. In the end we met up on a fine day. And i did not expect much. My starting point is: i will share with you my direction and dreams, just to share with you. If you feel that it does not coincide, please go on ahead with your original plan, i wouldnt want to be the one to change your plans, coz you would lose out. I wouldn coz i already have my own plans.

Unfortunately in the end it did not work out coz he could not get/understand my ideas. At some points of the discussion, we almost got into a quarrel.. coz i was explaining my disappointment in the world of music nowadays.

This is Touhou Volume 8: Imperishable Night gameplay for final boss. He fast forwards everything except the boss fights. The bosses takes up 80% of the game time.

I always prompt him to change for the better but he doesnt get it so i attituded him..

And yesterday i met him again. he asked me if i finished photocopying.. plus wanna meet up to compose.. ok the composing part didnt have any 0 mannerism outrage.. but his tone still sucked anyways..

updates on my mum.. hmm.. her dementia state is getting worse.. yesterday i came home and well.. she just said to me..

"next time when you come out from toilet must wear properly.. because obama is coming to interview me oh...dun just wear towel and come out like that.." even when her best friend called her she repeated the same thing to her over the phone..

a few days ago while the TV was showing obama inauguration,

"Obama called me and invited me on stage to interview me oh"

today i asked her where you going mum

"I going to Keming representing Keming oh" mum you're going to the hospital for your check up..

so what have becomed of her.. reali the same women fighter is slowly no longer there, reduced to a victim of old age.. in buddhism we teach "everyone has to go through the four stages of life : birth, old age, sickness and death. Just like the formation of the universe and planets. Integration, combustion, (can remember the term but is burnt out or something), disintegration. " Amazing how buddhism reali speaks of reason and logic.. everything in this world is linked.. and the process is all the same.. evolution."

that why i dun feel that sad.. because i understand that its part of the process.. after you die, you reborn in other part of the universe to fulfill your purpose and mission.. the karmic cycle goes on.. (read my previous post on karma) as for her, looking at the number of people she transformed, she would be "reborn at eagle's peak beside Shakyamuni and Nichiren as a boddhisattva" she would be watching as i fulfill my dreams.. and that image of "keep moving! keep moving! mother and son keep moving" will forever resonate in my head.. though its just me without her.. i shall continue her legacy of stand alone spirit!

and that obama interview thing makes me feel that it a wake up call to me.. i see things as an opportunity to pick up and start moving, instead of seeing it as a dreadful end that she's a goner. i feel that she dying to share her experience to the world, but she is unable to, that's the message i got as a son. so its up to me to share it with the world as i fulfill my dreams and mission.. I MUST work harder
